Becoming Anthony van Leewuen

In 2016 Jason returned to Cape Town to continue writing. He found a home to rent nestled into the side of Lion's Head Mountain and up Leeuwen Straat—Lion's Street.

While making the reservation, he mistakenly put Anthony where it asked for his first name and Jason where it asked for his last. It threw him when the houseboy kept calling him Anthony. Jason decided it was time to shed a skin since he liked being greeted as Anthony. His new identity perfectly honored his Dutch and Lion ancestry.

Thus, Anthony van Leeuwen, was born.
